The Adventure Begins

Chuck was selected for a promotion to Colonel in the USAF, Res. in December 2005. The promotion was exciting but brought with it a predicament. There was no position available at Homestead Air Reserve Base for a Colonel at the time, so, the waiting began. We always knew that if Chuck was selected that we might have to relocate, however, I don't think we ever thought it would really happen. There were many rumors of opportunities and plans that could include the chance to "pin on" the eagles but time passed and the possibility seemed more and more unlikely. We knew that God had a plan and we were just waiting to see what it was. Almost two years to the day of selection to Colonel, the call came that Chuck was selected to fill the position of Mission Support Group Commander, 419th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Thus, begins our new adventure!
